Morzine-Avoriaz is an authentic savoyard village with its wooden facades, sculpted balconies. The resort of Haute-Savoie extends from 1001m of altitude to 2460m.

The ski resort began in the 1920s when the first hotel was built. In 1934 the opening of the cable car Pléney helped develop the valley. The winter sports expanded and Morzine residents developed several cable cars. In 1960, Jean Vuarnet, a child of Morzine became famous for his Olympic title in Squaw Valley in the skiing descent. Upon his return, he took over the management of Avoriaz. He planned to open the magnificent snowfields of Avoriaz to the ski lovers and to create a station. Avoriaz was born on December 28th, 1962!
In 1968, during the Olympic Games in Grenoble, the Olympic flame passed through Morzine.
Morzine continues to develop and offer all the comfort to the current tourism while preserving its roots and past architecture.
Hotel Fleur des Neiges*** is in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, where you can hit the slopes (more than 650km) in winter. You can access Morzine-les-Gets skis to the foot. And if you wish to join Avoriaz, our hotel is located 300 metres away from the Super Morzine lift.
In summer, the ski resort of Morzine Avoriaz has marked trails for mountain biking and hiking. Hotel Fleur des Neiges is right in front of the ice rink of in the aquatic area, close to the Morzine Tourist Office.
